The full time staff along with part-time inspectors and outside consultants handles the day-to-day requirements of the Department. The full time staff is as follows:

Comprehensive Plan
The Comprehensive Plan is a legal document which serves as a guide for land planning and land use decisions for property within and in close proximity to the Village.

Important Notice: Before commencing any building activity, be sure to contact the Building Department at (708) 671-3730.  Many projects do not require permits and we can advise you accordingly. It is important that you use only contractors and tradesmen licensed in the Village. This will ensure that they possess the proper insurance and bond.  We are dedicated to serving our residents and we can only do so if we are aware of building and zoning matters as they occur.
