JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING The arena is filled with a huge
assortment of house wares, hardware, sporting goods, kids toys, craft
items, clothes, books, audio and video, and furniture!! We will begin
accepting donations on August 12th! If you have items you would like to
donate please call (708)361-3650 for drop off times. You can also
purchase hot dogs and refreshments provided by our Palos Heights Kiwanis

BARN DANCE: A Family Night of Music and Fun at
Saturday, September 6th, 5:30 – 9:00 pm
Rain or shine at the Children’s Farm, 12700 Southwest Hwy
A wonderful evening planned you won’t want to
miss our annual Barn Dance! We build a wooden floor over the indoor
arena, and have live music from the band Pop Element who will keep the
dance floor hopping and the fun happening! You can come and dance, sing,
or just listen and socialize. Hotdogs and root beer will be sold from
5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The barns will be open to visit the animals until
dusk, and hayrack rides around the farm and the marshmallow bonfire will
continue all evening long. Tickets are $8 per person. Proceeds from the
evening benefit the camp scholarship fund.

Senior Scam Awareness Seminar Series
Mondays Sept. 22 thru Oct. 13, 1 to 3 pm

Palos Park Police Department will
be sponsoring a Senior Scam Awareness Seminar Series to make seniors
aware and teach them how to protect themselves from sues and scams,
financial exploitation and how to communicate with and seek help of law
enforcement. The program will cover tips on personal and home safety,
along with a community drug awareness update. For more information

"Sell it Again Palos"
Metra Train Station
Palos Park Women's Club is sponsoring this event. Purchase space for $20,
provide your own table. This event will be heavily advertised and open
to the public. This is a great way to clean out the house, basement and

72nd annual FALL FESTIVAL AT THE FARM!
Saturday, September 27, 10 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

This will be a day of country fair fun for "kids of all ages.
Besides games, kid’s crafts, prizes, farm tours, live music, hayrack
rides, and horse rides, there will be craft and flea market booths, a
farmers market with freshly picked pumpkins, and refreshments from the
grill. Vendors should register as soon as possible for a booth space and
everyone else should plan ahead to spend a day of delightful fun at the
