Q. What are the hours of the Records/Administrative Offices for the Palos Park Police Department? 

The Records/Administrative Offices are open on Mondays from 9:00AM to 8:00PM, and on Tuesdays through Fridays from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. The offices are closed on weekends and holidays. 

Q. How do I obtain a copy of an accident report? 

A written request must be submitted to the Palos Park Police Department, at 8999 W. 123rd Street, Palos Park, IL 60464, or you may stop in in-person to request a report. A copy of a typical police report is $5.00. Please make checks payable to “Village of Palos Park”. 

Q. What should I do if my home is going to be vacant for an extended period of time? 

Please inform the Police Department of these types of situations by stopping by our offices at 8999 W. 123rd Street during the following hours: Mondays 9:00AM to 8:00PM, and Tuesdays through Fridays 9:00AM to 5:00PM. A short form needs to be completed by the homeowner. The Police Department will record the information, including the length of the vacancy, emergency contacts, key holders, and so forth. All information is kept strictly confidential.
